What is a “niche?” It’s your own specialty online. Your “thing.” Something you know about, and would like to write about. Whenever you make a website, your goal should be to share the knowledge that you have. You are providing a service, and people will want to come to your site to learn from you. When you have a site that has great content that people want to hear about, finding affiliates should be easy as pie. There are thousands of companies that do business online who offer affiliate programs, who would like an ad or a link from your page to their items for sale.

When I discovered WA I kept looking for the catch, and I gulped down as much information as I could in the first few days there, feeling that it was too good to be true and they were going to take it away from me at any moment. Nope. No catch. I could have stayed on free for as long as I wanted, but I upgraded to premium within a week. That was the cheapest tuition I’ve ever paid for such valuable training!

Maybe you’ve figured out some great recipes that you can make while holding a baby, a bottle, the phone, and with a toddler clinging to one leg? A blog about cooking for busy moms might be just the thing for you! After you have some content up on your page, you can begin to create affiliate links with companies which sell ingredients, kitchen tools, toddler-proof dishes, stain removers, or big house sized drop cloths.
Did you lose the baby fat fast after your last baby? Fitness sites are always popular. Tell us about your techniques for fitness using the baby as a barbell, kiddo curls, small fry squats, and little bit lunges. Every mom is doing exercises, carrying around the kids, but maybe you can write about a more targeted workout that’s munchkin compatible. Affiliates who would love to advertise to your audience could be selling workout gear, at home mats or stretching equipment, protein bars, or maybe mom/child matching sweats!
